Flying M Stable

Flying M Stable has lessons available for students who have never ridden before and for those looking to learn specialized skills and everything in between
Classes in Western riding are offered in 8-week blocks of hour-long sessions. Riders with prior experience
are evaluated upon beginning lessons and placed according to their skill level. During inclement weather,
lessons are provided in an indoor ring, which can be viewed from a heated lounge area (coming in Fall of 2008).
The Flying M Stable lesson year culminates in August with an event in which every rider demonstrates
new skills and participates in games as families and friends look on.
Flying M Stable also offers a class for adults only---whether returning to riding or learning it for
the first time.
Group lessons: $20/hr
Private lessons: $35/hr
Practice sessions: $10/hr
Lessons are paid at the beginning of each 8-wk session. Practice sessions are purchased the week prior to use. Discounts available for families.
Throughout the year, the Flying M Stable holds movie nights for students to watch popular horse movies. We also schedule workshops to extend riders' knowledge of horses. Subjects include groundwork, equine massage therapy, buying a horse, understanding horse psychology, and equine photography.
